Core Ministries Overview
Core Ministries refers to the broad categories of ministry that we will always be engaged in. All of our ministry efforts will be focused in these seven core areas. The expressions of these ministries, and the programs we choose will be different in Plover and Wisconsin Rapids based on need and available resources. They will also change and be adjusted over time to meet changing needs, and to take advantage of best practices.
One of the things that we value at Woodlands is the freedom to change and to try new approaches to accomplish our purpose. We cultivate a culture of grace that celebrates creativity and new initiatives, and is not bothered by occasional failures. We would rather try and fail to do effective ministry, than to not try at all.
