WORSHIP BAND CAMP
WHEN: Monday, July 26 - Friday, July 30
9.00 AM - Noon each day
WHERE: Woodlands Plover Campus
WHO: open to those who will be in 7th - 12th grade this coming fall who have a desire to be involved with student or adult worship teams and have a basic proficiency* in the following:
- vocals
- piano &/or keyboard
- guitar (acoustic or electric)
- bass guitar
- drums / auxillary percussion
WHAT: This week long camp is designed to help studentscontinue to develop their musical skills in a worship music format. Each day will include time in worship understanding, practical music skill development, team development, and practice.
In addition, our hope is that students from this camp will lead worship services in the gym at the end of this week [August 1].
Students will be given chord sheets and practice CD prior to the camp to begin learning the songs we will useduring camp as well as for Aug 1 services.
Students who play guitar or bass should plan to bring their instrument/pedals each day.
*Though a student may have a desire to learn to play one of these, this week is not designed to teach students how to play an instrument they have never played.
