Woodlands Church loves to provide financial support to grow God's global mission through short term mission projects. Woodlands Church's goals through short term funding include:
- Developing World Christians with a passion for God's global mission.
- Encouraging your growth in evangelism, discipleship, and ministry.
- Increasing the church's exposure to cross cultural mission experiences.
- Encouraging and developing long term missionaries through short term work.
The following guidelines and restrictions apply to all applicants and must be followed.
1. Funding is provided to past and present members as well as regular attendees of Woodlands Church.
2. Cross cultural short term missions projects of one week to one year, within the US and overseas, will be considered for support.
3. If you are participating in a Woodlands Church sponsored team or partnership, please do not complete this application as those teams are supported as a whole by Woodlands Church. Please see your team leader for additional details.
4. Requests will be reviewed and funds distributed throughout the year corresponding to regular meetings of the Short Term Missions Team. Meetings are generally held on the first Thursday of each month September through May. Applications received by the fourth Thursday of each month will be considered at the meeting immediately following the date received by Woodlands Church. Please be prepared to personally attend the meeting your application is being considered. Phone interviews may also be considered.
5. The Short Term Missions Team will review applications. You will be notified and, if applicable, funded within 2 weeks of your application approval.
6. Please submit an application after being officially accepted on the mission project. Do not submit an application unless you have raised funds and can report funding levels.

7. Please give us some specific requests to pray for you as you prepare and while you are on the trip.
8. After you return from your trip, we ask that you participate in a report of your experience by submitting a short essay on how the trip impacted you and your walk with the Lord.
