Each of these ministries utilizes our Plover site (some of the summer events are held off site but registrations and event details are coordinated through the Plover site).
Awana
Meets on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 pm. It is for kids who are at least 3 years old and continues through 6th grade. The ministry mixes games, surprises, and studying the Bible into a typical evening. We ask families to take a moment to register children who will be participating in Awana, and that registration form can be accessed here. When arriving at Woodlands, please look for someone in a yellow polo shirt and they will be glad to assist you with the Check In process for your children. Our Awana ministry maintains its own website, if you would like to find more details relating to Awana, click here.
Sunday School
Meets during our Sunday worship services (currently 9:00 and 10:45 am). We have classes for those who are two years away from Kindergarten up through 6th graders. We ask families to take a moment to register children who will be participating in Sunday School, and that registration form can be accessed here. When arriving at Woodlands, please go to Town Hall and we will be glad to assist you with the Check In process for your children.
Nursery ![]()
Nursery is the place for children too young for Sunday School and Awana. This ministry provides multiple rooms to handle the specialized needs of this age group. Our nurseries are available during Sunday worship services. We ask families to take a moment to register children who will be participating in Nursery, and that registration form can be accessed here. When arriving at Woodlands, please go to Town Hall and we will be glad to assist you with the Check In process for your children.
Friendship Ministry
This ministry is for those with special needs. There’s a class for teens and young adults with special needs during the 10:45 am Sunday School time. Many of our students with special needs mainstream into our Sunday School classes and we try to assist them with the help of a classroom volunteer.
Music & Drama
This ministry provides opportunities for kids to express their creativity through musical productions that we offer through the year. We do a Christmas production that is targeted for our younger students, and each spring we do a production that is geared towards our older students.
Summer Events
We keep pretty busy in the summer at Woodlands Village. Here are just a few of the things going on in a typical summer: Village Ventures (a camp-like experience), Vacation Bible School (pre-register here), 5 Day Clubs (like VBS except smaller and done in a backyard), and more!
