Women’s Ministry

Equipping Women for Life, Ministry and Mission

Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.    Colossians 3:16

Description:
This semester we will be studying the book of Esther.  A book of great drama, tragedy and triumph, we will use the Scriptural text to learn about the people, the place, the plot, and the purposes.   We’ll learn about the character of God and about His hand in history.  We’ll ask questions of ourselves to help us apply the lessons from long ago to our lives today.

Bring your Bible – no extra material required!  I’ll suggest some minimal reading for “homework” but class time will be “stand alone.”  In addition to the Bible Study portion of our class each week, we will spend time getting to know one another, sharing prayer requests and praying for each other.   We will plan one or two “fun” weeks too.

Meets during REACH Homeschool Co-op.  Starts Sept. 16
Requirement(s): Women
