o The Quest for Authentic Manhood: Men's Fraternity Year 1 with Robert Lewis. This helps men understand their masculine identity & shows how to make the pursuit of authentic manhood a lifelong priority that is incorporated into the fabric of their everyday lives. It defines what a man is & challenges each man to develop his own personalized manhood plan. Dale Sankey, facilitator - Format: video and discussion
o The Gospel of John: This will follow along with the Sunday morning study and use the Life Changer Bible study Guide. Brian Berg, facilitator - Format: Personal study and group discussion
o Fathered by God: by John Eldredge, author of “Wild At Heart”. This book covers all the stages men go through, from boyhood to the wise Sage. He uses Biblical examples of men in the different stages to help men grasp how God has made them. This book maps out the path of manhood – not more rules, not another list of principles, not formulas, but a sure path men have followed for centuries before us. Find that path & become the man God sees in you. This is an eight-week DVD study followed by group discussion. Each member will need to purchase the book, about $11. o Total Integrity: Come join a book discussion & accountability group that seeks to help men remain vigilant against cultural temptations that affect purity, learn how to strengthen the examples we set as men in our families, & gain insights about integrating Scripture's wisdom into everyday situations. We will review 3 to 4 books throughout the year, with handout materials available. The group will need a minimum in order to be offered, but there is no maximum number set. o Spirit Warriors: by Stu Weber, a study on Spiritual warfare, based on the following four themes: The Nature of the Battle, The Powers that Be, In the Thick of Battle, and Beyond the Battlefield. Jere Mansavage, facilitator - Format: Personal study and group discussion
To sign up for one of these classes, fill out a form by the Information Racks and turn it into the Welcome Center or church office or email ashilka@woodlandschurch.org so materials can be ordered. Our annual Men’s Retreat is one of the highlights of the church year for our men. It is a great time to get to know other men, laugh a lot, eat a ton of terrific food, play basketball, football, golf, etc., plus get some wonderful spiritual input!! We can guarantee that you will be greatly enriched if you go!

In addition to great teaching, there will be ample time for recreation and “hang out time” with other guys. This is the highlight of our men’s ministry year – don’t miss it!!
FRIDAY OPTIONS:
1. All day golf outing: 8:00 am at Inshala Country Club near Tomahawk. Cost for unlimited golf, cart and lunch is $30 plus tax, payable to Inshala Country Club. If you want to be paired up with someone, let us know. Otherwise, we will put you in foursomes.
2. All day mountain bike adventure
3. Motorcycle group – Leaving around noon.
4. Half day early arrival at Camp – you may check in after 2 pm. The camp will have their café open at 7 pm for those who would like to order a pizza or there is a restaurant in town 4 miles away.
